Do the Russian people want this horrific act of war in Ukraine? From what I’ve read my answer would be “I don’t think so”. The only Russians that I’ve read about that support the present military action are those that were brainwashed by Stalin, Khrushchev and Brezhnev from 1924 to 1982, I give Malenkov the benefit of the doubt as he didn’t hang around long enough to make much of a difference. Saying that, the amount of information that abounds these days, even to 90 year olds, should have spread some seeds of doubt even among the most stalwart of communists.
A question that does arise for me is how can leaders of countries be allowed to rule for twenty years? The sell-by date for me would be ten, maximum.
