I see, mainly the pundits not Corberán, are whingeing about two penalty claims that were turned down but Jon Moss (the most senior English referee who retired after this game) was in charge and the mighty VAR was active. Sorry lads, you can all fuck off, Forest won, end of.

Oh City Ground the mist rolling in from the Trent My desire is always to be here Oh City Ground.
Far have I travelled and much have I seen Goodison, Anfield are places I've been, Main Road, Old Trafford still echo to the sound of the boys in red from the City Ground.
Oh City Ground the mist rolling in from the Trent My desire is always to be here Oh City Ground.
Passing the leather like Cloughie's great men,
Please take us back to the days I knew then,
Games when we sang in the Nottingham choir,
When we thrashed the sheep from Derbyshire.
Oh City Ground the mist rolling in from the Trent My desire is always to be here Oh City Ground.
Smiles in the sunshine, football like champagne,
Still take me back to where my memories remain,
Flickering embers growing higher and higher,
And a new squad of players for us to inspire.
Oh City Ground the mist rolling in from the Trent My desire is always to be here Oh City Ground.

As a Forest fan I regularly get bombarded with “scabyo scabyo scabyo” from the CCFC supporters probably because they generally don’t have a clue wtf they’re on about or any decent argument one way or the other as usual. To put the record straight, the Nottinghamshire miners (and some other areas of the midlands, some Yorkshire miners + others I might add) refused to strike because that communist bastard Arthur Scargill refused to allow a ballot on the subject of a national strike.
The critical element was the NUM's failure to hold a national strike ballot. The strike was ruled illegal in September 1984, as no national ballot of NUM members had been held.
Had a ballot been allowed Nottinghamshire would have stood by whatever the outcome was win or lose. I put it to the uneducated masses not only were the Nottinghamshire miners not scabs but upholders of union (NUM) law and that the real scabs were the Marxist, Leninist, socialist infiltrators within the coal mining industry.
