Yay, not before time. I’ve said for many years celeb’s, sports people, news panelist’s and the like should keep shtum on matters political. They’re paid more than enough so their opinions are generally irrelevant to the man in the street. I seriously hope it’s permanent.
BTW- I wonder how many illegal asylum seekers live in his street?

Personally I don’t give a fuck if MOTD never comes back, I don’t watch it these days, it’s poor. I much prefer Sky Sports. As for Lineker and the BBC pfft!!

The BBC is now capitulating, at least it brings the subject of defunding nearer a conclusion. I’m not sure why they’ve turned tail, the ITV got rid of the much beloved Saint and Greavsie and Sky sacked a raft of ‘pundits’ including Tony Cottee, Charlie Nicholas, Phil Thompson and Matt Le Tissier without retribution. I never watch MOTD as I prefer Skys football coverage even more so now.
